- I've successfully used Tools.h++ and DBtools.h++ with gcc 2.6.1
- on an RS6000 running AIX (sorry, don't recall which version of AIX).
- I've compiled these libraries on the same platform
- using gcc 2.7.0, but haven't tested the result.
